Today, due to our busy and hectic lives, many of us have become disconnected with nature. This is leading to an increase in what psychologists are calling ‘Nature Deficit Disorder’ which reduces wellbeing and resilience. We are also becoming disconnected with ourselves. This is leading to an increasing lack of meaning and purpose in our lives and a reduction in our imagination and creativity. During this two day module, through the use of biomimicry and drama techniques, leaders are given the opportunity reconnect with nature and themselves.
Rather than learning about nature, leaders are guided to learn from nature and to use nature’s solutions to solve their problems, create their future and guide their development. They learn how to use nature as a vehicle to connect with their own intuition, imagination and creativity allowing them to reconnect with their soul purpose. As they form this deeper connection, rather being in nature, leaders often become part of nature and tune into nature’s collective consciousness. In doing so, they are able to start letting go of their separate ego identity and experience the states of consciousness associated with the post-conventional stages of New Leadership.
During the module the leaders will go on field trips within the grounds of the Centre for Alternative Technology. The module ends with the leaders capturing their learning and determining the next steps in their development.
Fees include single accommodation (2 nights), all meals, field trips, materials and facilitated sessions.
